A friend from Rhode Island presented me with a box of these peppermint patties, and my only complaint is they did not magically reproduce in the box. The dark chocolate in these is perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of bitterness to complement the peppermint filling. Very smooth, not waxy, nice, thick chocolate shell. What a treat. Congratulations on this wonderful and artful chocolate.
